FlyingDocs HD app for iPhone and iPad

FlyingDocs is basically an iPad application for downloading, synchronizing and
offline browsing of documents that are stored on a remote web server. These
documents must be stored on the web server running the Open Source Content
Management System „Joomla“ and the very popular document management
component called „Docman“.
Every web page that uses the CMS Joomla and the component Docman can be
made compatible with this app FlyingDocs. The web master of the Joomla
website must install and activate the free „FlyingDocs for Joomla“ component
that is available on our web site www.airlinetools.com.
After installation of this app you can add your Joomla/Docman based web
servers where you have a personal log-in.Having an account will enable you to
log into the member section of this web site. In the member section you will
probably find some documents ready for download.
This app will synchronize all app documents right onto your iPad/iPhone.
The webmaster of the corresponding site has the flexibility to select which
documents are published and who may download them for offline browsing.
We support any document format but only PDF and JPG can be opened within
this app. For all other formats we will present an „open in..“ dialog box where
you can select any installed app, that can handle that document type. (e.g.
Word, Excel, Pages, asf.)
Here are the requirements in order to make full use of this app:
• personal access to a web site running Joomla 1.5.x or newer
• that web site must run the component Docman 1.4, Docman 1.5 or newer
• you must have a member account that will enable you to log into the member
section, there you should find the documents that are published by the web
master
The web master of that web site must prepare the server:
• install Docman 1.4, 1.5 or newer
• install our free component FlyingDocs for Joomla“ to activate access from the
iPad/iPhone app available at „www.airlinetools.com“
• the web master must enable your group or your person for access
• the web master must enable one or more folders (called categories in
Docman) for access

After installation we provide a pre-installed test settings where you can test
drive the app and download more help files. Here are the settings:
